Hammes Company to manage 500,000 SF portfolio for CHRISTUS Spohn
BROOKFIELD, Wis., and CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas, March 11, 2009 – Healthcare facility leader, Hammes Company, has been chosen to lease and manage a real estate portfolio for CHRISTUS Spohn Health System, part of CHRISTUS Health, a large regional health system in the South Central region of the United States.
The 12 medical office buildings (MOBs) that make up the portfolio represent nearly 500,000 square feet and include properties that are both on and off the hospital’s campus. All the properties are located in the city of Corpus Christi and have a tenant mix of CHRISTUS-employed physicians, independent physicians and hospital administration.
Hammes Company will be providing leasing, property and asset management, accounting, lease administration, and portfolio consulting services from a new office that recently opened in Corpus Christi. Hammes Company will leverage its property management team and healthcare real estate expertise to accomplish goals and objectives such as enhancing the marketability of the MOBs and developing and implementing a long-term operating plan.
