As an Affiliate Member of The Center for Health Design, Hammes is a part of truly innovative healthcare and design professionals across the country who champion the quest to improve the quality of healthcare through
evidenced-based design of facilities.
We are affiliated with this organization because their mission, “to transform healthcare settings - including hospitals, clinics, physician offices, and nursing homes - into healing environments that contribute to health and improve outcomes through the creative use of evidence-based design,” is the same as ours. We support their work and consider them a valuable partner.
The Center for Health Design has pioneered the
Pebble Project® research program that provides examples of healthcare organizations whose facility designs have made a difference in their quality of care, as well as their financial performances. The Center’s Pebble Project® partners are demonstrating that facility design can:
