Hammes Company Engaged by Children’s Hospital and Health System and the Medical College of Wisconsin for Joint Biomedical Research
Brookfield, WI, December 7, 2004— Hammes Company, the nation’s leading healthcare developer and real estate consulting firm, announced today that they have been engaged by Children’s Hospital and Health System (CHHS) and the Medical College of Wisconsin to project manage their 295,000 square foot biomedical research facility expansion project.
The five-story, $117 million research center will include space for shared laboratories and support services, as well as two wings housing research laboratories and offices for the two organizations. The first phase of the project will build out 215,000 feet of space for laboratories, procedure rooms and offices, with an additional 80,000 feet of shell space available for future expansion.

Construction will begin this fall with the completion scheduled for December of 2006.
