Hammes Company Ranked Number One Developer in National Healthcare Survey by Modern Healthcare
Brookfield, WI, March 13, 2006—Hammes Company, for the seventh consecutive year, has reinforced its number one position as the nation’s leading development company according to a recent survey conducted by Modern Healthcare. The rankings appeared in the March 13, 2006 issue of Modern Healthcare magazine.

Modern Healthcare had 190 participants for its 27th annual Construction & Design Survey, which consisted of a variety of organizations including architecture firms, design/build firms, general contractors, construction management companies and development firms. To be qualified, all participating firms were required to have 100,000 square feet or more of healthcare construction in at least one phase of construction—completed, ground broken or designed. Hammes Company competed against 20 qualified development organizations across the country, all of which were ranked by their 2005 construction dollar volume.
