Hammes Company was selected by Bon Secours Richmond Health System to evaluate market feasibility and to develop clinical business plans for a community ambulatory care center. In a market faced with practice consolidations and attractive development projects on several hospital campuses, Hammes Company and Bon Secours were challenged to develop a compelling vision that could attract physicians to enter a new growth market located 10 miles from the hospital.
Additionally, Hammes Company developed volume projections and financial feasibility for the fitness services, as well as for a range of clinical services including ambulatory surgery, imaging and lab. A multi-phased development approach was recommended for the 41-acre property, taking into consideration Certificate of Need timing and physician joint venture formation opportunities. After a thorough assessment of medical office space and physician interest, Hammes Company developed space programs, a capital budget and financial plans for several development scenarios.
