Prince William Haymarket Health Center, Haymarket, VA

Recognizing the growing need for healthcare services in western Prince William County, Prince William Health System engaged Hammes Company to develop, own and manage their new Haymarket Health Center. The three-story, 78,000 SF outpatient center is conveniently located at the intersection of two major highways in a wooded setting with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. The new facility brings together specialty physicians, including pediatric, orthopedic, ophthalmology and otolaryngology (ENT) practices with a full array of outpatient services in one convenient location.

The building has a total of 34,000 SF dedicated to physician office space. Other services include 24-hour emergency care, family medicine, state-of-the-art diagnostics, and rehabilitation. A dedicated Women’s Imaging Center with a private waiting area provides digital mammography with computer- aided (CAD) detection and DEXA bone density scanning – all in an upscale, spa-like setting. The building was completed in 2008, and the Outpatient Surgery Center with two operating rooms and two endoscopy suites is anticipated to open in early 2009. Prince William Health System’s long-term vision for the new 32-acre campus includes a second MOB and eventually a new hospital.
