St. John's Health Center, Santa Monica, CA

On the heels of completing an ambulatory services plan and medical office building feasibility study for Saint John’s Health Center, Hammes Company was selected to acquire a six-story, 160,000 SF building across the street from the hospital and convert it from commercial to medical office space. This project enables Saint John’s Health Center to execute a patient-friendly, physician-convenient ambulatory care strategy and attract new physicians who desire to grow their practices. Hammes Company was involved in financing the project, securing a zoning variance from the City of Santa Monica, leasing space to both independent physician practices and large medical groups, managing the shell and core upgrades, and tenant improvement construction.
