Duke University Health System engaged Hammes Company as its partner in the first phase of a planned ambulatory network expansion. Hammes Company provided the feasibility assessment of Duke’s first major regional ambulatory care center, and collaborated with Duke’s leadership team to complete site selection, volume projections, space plans, and business plans.
Hammes studied the feasibility of a wide range of ambulatory services, and provided final recommendations that could meet both strategic requirements and CON-related constraints. Hammes Company provided consultation on development structures, partnership options, and project management services for the new ACC.
Hammes Company was later engaged to provide planning and programming for a proposed joint ambulatory facility between Duke and a private diagnostic clinic. The ambulatory center also includes 150,000 SF of medical office space.
