Hammes exec tapped as panel member for Carolinas SHSMD 2018 spring conference

Charlotte, N.C., Washington, D.C., April 17, 2018 – Hammes Company (, the nation’s leading healthcare developer, as ranked by Modern Healthcare’s Construction and Design Survey, will be represented by regional vice president and partner Rex Holloway in a panel discussion about the next generation in ambulatory planning at the Carolinas Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development’s (CSHSMD) 2018 spring conference. The annual two-day event is slated for April 19 – 20 at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Charlotte – Southpark in Charlotte, N.C.

The three-person panel will discuss the next generation in ambulatory planning at their speaking session titled “Beyond the Hospital Walls: Ambulatory Rebooted” on Friday, April 20 at 8 AM. Holloway, a frequent speaker offering advisory and strategic insight at healthcare conferences, will be joined by architect Tammy Thompson, president and founder of Atlanta-based Institute for Patient-Centered Design, and architect Becky Smith, principal at LS3P Associates headquartered in Charleston, S.C. The panel discussion will be moderated by Michael Rovinsky, director of the southeast region of Pa.-based Veralon. 

Holloway works from Hammes’ Washington, D.C. office where he serves as the company’s national advisory services practice leader. He is widely known as a thought leader in strategic planning and consulting services for hospitals and physician groups and has more than 30 years of experience in leading health systems. Holloway has been a panel member in past years at the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development Connections conference, presenting on retail analytics and ambulatory network development trends.
