Marquette hires Hammes to create vision for $120M research center, surrounding neighborhood

Marquette University hired Hammes Co. of Brookfield to make recommendations for developing the university’s new connection to downtown Milwaukee via a corridor along West Michigan Street that will include the planned $120 million athletic performance research center.

Hammes Co. has extensive experience developing sports-related projects including Lambeau Field in Green Bay. When the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce was studying in 2014 strategies for building a new downtown arena, the organization hired Hammes Co.'s sports development group.
