Hammes ranked as #1 healthcare facility developer in nation for 9th year

BROOKFIELD, Wis., April 16, 2008 – Brookfield-based Hammes Company was once again ranked as the nation’s top healthcare facility developer in a survey published in the March 24th edition of Modern Healthcare magazine.

“In 2007 we completed more than $943 million in healthcare projects,” says Rich Galling, President & COO, Hammes Company. “Our success this past year is due to the efforts of our team of hardworking, experienced and dedicated employees.”

Hammes Company’s position as the number one healthcare development company was reinforced for the ninth time after being compared against 21 other qualified development organizations across the country. All of the development companies participating in the survey were ranked by their 2007 construction dollar volume.

“Hammes Company’s unique strength is our expertise in both the planning and implementation of healthcare and related programs,” continued Mr. Galling. “We’re able to assess a market quickly, recommend strategic initiatives, and create an action plan using a market-driven approach to healthcare services. Our clients find it more efficient, timely and cost effective to have the same firm deliver the full scope of services that are often necessary for successful projects.”

The 29th annual Modern Healthcare Construction & Design Survey encompassed five categories of organizations including: architecture firms, construction management companies, development firms, general contractors and design/build firms.
