Sutter Medical Center Santa Rosa MOB

Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa, a Sutter Health Network affiliate, has constructed a new, state-of-the-art hospital and on-campus medical office building which opened in the fall of 2014.

Hammes Company, and the entire Sutter Santa Rosa MOB project team, was committed to incorporating innovative design features to accomplish goals in sustainability and an environmentally responsible development.  

We worked towards our shared goal of achieving a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver designation by implementing the following key features in our design:
 
  • Green Housekeeping: environmentally friendly cleaning products and pest control
  • Water Conservation: low-flow toilets and lavatories
  • Energy Efficiency: HVAC, low–E windows and renewable energy use
  • Clean Water: stormwater retention and use of bioswales
  • Heat Island Effect: reflective roof and driveway surface
  • Water-Efficient Landscaping: low water plants
  • Waste Management: divert construction waste from landfill and building recycling program
  • Low-emitting Materials: low VOC in paints and adhesives
  • Alternative Transportation: adjacent to public transportation, addition of bicycle racks
  • Fuel-efficient vehicle: preferred parking

Sutter Medical Center partnered with Hammes Company to be the master developer of the medical office building and led all development, leasing and capital financing initiatives for the facility project.
