Hammes Company ranked as a top healthcare facility developer for the last 10 years

BROOKFIELD, Wis., March 23, 2009 – Earlier this month, Modern Healthcare magazine’s Annual Construction & Design Survey recognized Hammes Company once again as one of the nation’s leading healthcare facility developers.

"This is the tenth consecutive year that Hammes Company has been recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of the top firms,” says Rich Galling, President and COO of Hammes Company. "The past decade of continued success is a testament to our organization's passion and the expertise we have planning and developing healthcare facilities and programs across the country."

Modern Healthcare's 30th annual survey, published in the March 16th edition, compared total construction dollars in 2008 for all qualifying development firms. Hammes Company's $979 million in healthcare projects earned one of the top rankings in the survey results. Approximately 189 respondents were surveyed to determine the results that were tabulated by Modern Healthcare.

"2008 was a significant year of growth for Hammes Company,” Mr. Galling continued. "We have fortified our international business ventures and secured strong engagements with several of the nation's most prestigious health systems."

Modern Healthcare is a national publication highlighting business news within the healthcare industry. The survey addressed five categories of organizations, including architecture firms, construction management companies, development firms, general contractors, and design/build firms.
